How to install VAS 5054A v19

Computer System Requirements:

1) Language: English

 2) Windows XP(xp2/xp3)

VAS5054A V19 setup steps
step 1: put 5054a-basis CD into computer, then select
 “setupstart”
Step 2: Enter VAS5054A installation interface,select
 “INSTALL”
Step 3: click “Accept”
Step 4: click “START”
Step 5: installing software, please wait patiently
Step 6: end software installation, click “FINISH”
Step 7: Click “EXIT”
Step 8: Open C:// and Click “VAS_19_Active” to install java.
Step 9: Finish installing Java
Step 10: click “VAG VAS-PC Hotfix for Version 19.00
HotFix Tool”
Step 11: Installation Successful, click “Finish”
Step 12: Download and install “Adobe Reader 7.0.9”
Step 13: Now restart computer (have to restart), to save VAS5054A installation settings.
Step 14: after restart computer, connect vas 5054a v19 to car and with computer, then start to install driver.
Step 14: Driver installation finish
Step 15: open “VAS-PC” on your computer desktop, when the dialog box named “Warning” open, click “ok”
Step 16: Now enter vas 5054a v19 software, begin to set “administration”
Step 17: Click “Enter Workshop Code”
Step 18:
Importer Number consists of three digits Dealership Number consists of five digits
The third group code consists of two lines, no more than
60 characters
After finish setup “administration”, exit it, you will see operation menu.
Step 19: Click “Vehicle self-diagnosis”
Step 20: Click “On Board Diagnosis OBD”
Step 21: enter vehicle “VIN”
Step 22: Now you are able to check all Vehicle Systems. Click any Control Unit you want to check.
Step 23: begin to update Audi data, firstly insert Audi CD, and click “administration”
Step 24:  click “Install/Update CD”, then click “OK”
Note: use the same way to update VW data
Step 25: after update the data of VW and Audi, you will see their LOGO as following shows. Now you are able
to use Guide Function.
Step 26: Set Bluetooth Device
Firstly put Bluetooth Device into computer USB port, then the right corner of computer desktop will appear
“Found New Hardware”.
Step 27: double click the Bluetooth Icon at the right corner of your computer desktop. Then a dialog box appears as follows, then click “Add”.
Step 28:  follow the suggestion, click “Next”
Step 29:  After search the Bluetooth Device, we select
“VAS5054” and click “Next”
Step 30: choose “Use the passkey found in the manual”
and enter Bluetooth password, finally click “Next”

Morgan LIFECar to be presented in Geneva Press releaseThe green car that will deliver on performance and looks as well as emission reduction Now less than 12 months from reality, the British consortium involved in the project, which includes the legendary sports car manufacturer Morgan, QinetiQ, Cranfield and Oxford universities, BOC and OSCar, is on target to unveil the completed and running prototype at the 2008 Geneva show. The new vehicle, known as LIFECar will be ultra quiet, and its exhaust system will produce only water vapour thanks to its fuel cell converting hydrogen into electricity. The real challenge is to design and build a car that is fun to drive – a proper sports car quoted Charles Morgan, the strategy director for the Morgan Motor Company. The use of ultra capacitors to store the surplus energy and then use this for acceleration and braking does promise a dynamic ride, especially when combined with our ultra light chassis. The pairing of weight to a minimum is our strength, and allows a much smaller fuel cell than conventionally thought necessary. This gives energy and yet more weight savings Part funded by the Department for Trade and Industry (DTI), LIFECar has been a 2 ½ year project. Although in most respects fuel cells are more like engines than batteries, to the extent that they generate energy from fuel in a tank rather than store energy, like batteries, they use electrodes (solid electrical conductors) with an electrolyte (an electrically conductive medium). When the hydrogen molecules come into contact with the negative electrodes, the molecules split into protons and electrons. The protons are then carried across the proton exchange membrane to the positive electrode of the fuel cell whilst the electrons travel around the external circuit as electricity. The molecules of the hydrogen and oxygen are combined chemically, with water as the only waste product. The only emission from the QinetiQ fuel cell will be water vapour. The electric power generated by the fuel cells powers the electric motors and turns the wheels of the vehicle.

A totally new complement of motorcycle courses will also debut later this summer. The updates and improvements weve made to our numerous offerings this year will captivate the customer. High performance courses like the M School simulate race track driving while teaching advanced car control and safetyskills. In with the New: Exciting Upgrades for 2007 The ultimate driving experience has gotten even better with the extension of the track at the BMW Performance Driving School, already known for its course that can be configured 35 different ways. Audi is setting new standards on the Internet

Audi R8 With the R8 launch, Audi is setting new standards on the Internet. Following the unveiling of the new sports car at the Paris Motor Show, the online presentation is now also getting underway. The R8 is to feature in a spectacular 3D film on the microsite (www.audi.com/R8). What sets this computer-generated film apart is that it is based exclusively on CAD data and was produced totally digitally on a computer. Thus the real R8 never once had to touch the road. At a ceremonial gathering in Frankfurt last Saturday, the Deutscher Designer Club e.V. (DDC) awarded gold to the R8 microsite in the digital category of its ‘Good Design’ competition.Rainer Gehrisch, CEO of Gehrisch und Krack Filmproduktions AG and member of the DDC, presented Dieter Kopitzki, Head of Online Marketing at AUDI AG, with the gold medal and praised above all the futuristic manner in which the R8 was presented in the form of an interactive 3D film. AUDI AG also received the DDC Grand Prix, the highest accolade granted by the DDC for outstanding work in the fields of design, communication, internet design and brand management.Furthermore, in October the microsite was bestowed with the title ‘Site of the Month’ at the Favourite Website Awards, one of the world’s most famous innovative web design competitions, thereby making it one of the hot favourites to win Website of the Year.The film, Dimension R8, forms the emotional heart of the microsite. 3D animations masterfully depict the R8 tearing round the racetrack, through the city and along coastal roads. 2008 RSR Scion tC Press releaseScion today announced it will drift the RS*R Scion tC in Formula Drift events this year. Scions drift car is based on its most popular model, the tC sports coupe. The factory built front-wheel drive tC turned into a drifting contender through a rear-wheel drive conversion performed by acclaimed exhaust and suspension manufacturer, RS*R. The tC shares its platform with Toyotas Japanese market Avensis four-wheel drive and Caldina all-wheel drive, enabling it to undergo the conversion. RS*R used its extensive performance shop experience to change the tCs stock transverse engine configuration to a longitudinal setup in order to drive power, through the transmission and drive shaft, directly to the rear wheels. Scion has participated in motorsports for three years and the fan support has been incredible, said Jack Hollis, Scion vice president. Drifting is an exciting, emerging motorsport with a dedicated and intense fan base. Were looking to engage drifting enthusiasts and Scion owners just like we do in drag racing. Ken Gushi will be at the wheel of the RS*R Scion tC. Gushi learned to drift at the age of 13 when his father took him to El Mirage Off-Highway Vehicle Area in California. Gushi started his drifting career at the age of 16 and was the youngest driver to compete in D1. Now 21 years old, Gushi has further developed his skills and placed in many drift events. We think our first season of drift will be a knock-out, said Hollis. Weve got the talented Ken Gushi behind the wheel of one of the hottest tCs out there. The RS*R Scion tC, also sponsored by Toyo Tires and XM Satellite Radio, will make its first appearance at Formula Drifts Round 1, Streets of Long Beach in Calif. on April 12. The first Skyline was introduced in April 1957

1957 ALSI-1 The first Skyline was introduced in April 1957, under the Prince marque, and was marketed as a luxury car. It featured a 1.5 L (1482 cc) GA-4 engine producing 44 kW (60 hp). It used a de Dion tube rear suspension and was capable of 140 km/h (87 mph). The car weighed around 1300 kg. Prince Skylines were produced as four door sedans and five door station wagons.The Skyline also spawned pickup truck and van lines called the Prince Skyway. ALSI-2 The Skyline was updated with quad headlights for 1957. This model was powered by a slightly altered 1.5 L engine known as the GA30 OHV (1484 cc) producing about 60 hp @ 4400 rpm and was produced through 1961. This is the first four round headlight car design in Japan)S50 or BLSID In 1961 Fuji Precision Industries changed its name to Prince after the 1954 merger, and the S50 series was launched. This was the second generation car, and became one of the more desirable cars in Japan. It was powered by the G-1 engine, a 70 hp (52 kW) version of the old GA-4. An 1862 cc engine was also available, delivering 91 hp. In 1962, this model was restyled as the S21S series. The S50 was further developed with new styling for 1963, and was sold in some markets with an A150 designation.In 1966, Nissan and Prince merged and the S50 also appeared with Nissan Skyline badging. Prince created a racing GT Skyline In May 1964. It was based on the S54 and used the larger 6-cylinder G-7 engine from the Gloria S40, though the engine bay needed an 8 extension welded in to fit the straight six. When it entered the 2nd Japanese Grand prix they hoped to win the GT-II class. Competitive against the Porsche 904, the Skyline managed 2nd through to 6th places.Largely due to the success of their race vehicle, the Prince 2000GT (also called GT-A, GT-B, S54A and S54B) was released to the Japanese market. Both the B and A used front disc brakes with dual pistons. S57 The S50 Skyline was updated to become the S57 in 1967. It used a Nissan engine, the OHC 1.5 L (1487 cc) G15. At 88 hp (66 kW), it was the most-powerful engine in the Japanese 1500 cc class. C10 The C10 series of 1968, probably developed by Prince, got Nissan badging. There was no Prince equivalent on the market. It used Nissans 1.5 L OHC G15 I4 like the S57. A 1.8 L G18 version was also available.A station wagon variant was offered in this generation. Kia Design Boss Wants a Toyota GT86 Fighter Earlier Rumors The first rumors on a possible Kia sports coupe surfaced back in 2010 when Peter Schreyer, Kia’s design head, confirmed that a new coupe will arrive "sooner or later" as a new halo model for the company. As Schreyer was the man whom designed the high successful Audi TT we were pretty sure that the new Kia sports car will be a real success.Still, the years went by and Kia brought no new sports car. At least not until September 2011 at the Frankfurt Motor Show when Kia unveiled the GT sports car. We are not too sure if the GT will be put into production at some point, but it has been rumored many times that it will inspire future Kia models. In fact, back in March, Benny Oeyen, Kia’s boss of Europe, once again confirmed that the GT will inspire a new sports car that will be "a little less pure than the Toyota GT86, more of a comfortable cruiser."We cannot be sure if Oeyen and Kearns are talking about the same sports car, but it surely looks that way. The only difference is that one is reporting the model will be built on the same idea as the GT86, one says it will be better than the GT86. Believe it or not, Kia actually did have a sports car at one time. Back when GM bought out Lotus, their new poppa wanted to see a Lotus that was more affordable. With that came the resurrection of the Lotus Elan – M100 Elan, to be more specific. This little eco-Lotus used a heavily modified Isuzu – yes, ISUZU!! – 1,588 cc engine that was available with or without a turbocharger.The turbocharged engine pumped out 162 horsepower, which was pretty stout for the era, and the naturally aspirated model hit 130 horsepower. This engine delivered power to the front wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. This combo sprinted the new M100 Elan to 60 mph in a relatively impressive 6.5 seconds.Well, after all of the crazy testing that Lotus put the M100 through, it finally launched in 1989 alongside the worst possible rival: the Mazda MX-5 Miata. Needless to say, the cheaper and sportier Miata throttled the Elan and it only saw a total of 3,855 units built (559 went to the U.S.) through 1992. When GM had enough with Lotus, it sold the company to Bugatti and the French builder scrapped the M100 Elan altogether.The Elan made a brief 800-unit comeback between 1994 and 1995. This Series 2 Elan handled better than the discontinued model, but it only had 155 ponies and took 7.5 seconds to get to 60 mph.So how does that tie into Kia? Well, Kia saw an opportunity and bought all of the relevant licensing to build the Elan. This led to the monster that was the for-Korea-only Kia Elan… It looked almost identical to the Lotus model, save for the revised taillights and it hosted a 1.8-liter engine that could only muster up 151 horsepower. Kia’s rendition of the Elan lasted from 1996 through 1999.

 GM Chairman and CEO Rick Wagoner announced today that GM will build an all-new version of the Chevrolet Camaro sport coupe based on the award-winning concept that stole the spotlight at the North American International Auto Show and has ignited the passion of car enthusiasts around the world ever since – even spurring consumers to start petition drives and send in certified checks in hopes of placing early deposits. The overwhelmingly enthusiastic response to the Camaro Concept continues to remind me of the uniquely iconic place our products can have in customers’ hearts, Wagoner said. Camaro is much more than a car; it symbolizes Americas spirit and its love affair with the automobile.The all-new Camaro will begin with early production versions at the end of 2008 and will go on sale in the first quarter of 2009.
